Why We Use Affiliate Links
Running In My Cart — testing products, writing guides, and keeping the Site running — takes real time and money. Affiliate commissions are how we cover those costs without charging readers or filling the Site with intrusive ads. It's a way to keep the content free for you while still being sustainable for us.
This Never Changes What We Recommend
Every product featured on In My Cart is selected first — based on reviews, ratings, price, and whether it genuinely fits the buyer situation we're writing for — and monetized second. We do not accept payment from brands to feature their products, and commission rates do not influence which products make our lists or how we rank them. If a product isn't good enough for our own kitchen, it doesn't make it onto the Site.
How It Works
When you click certain links on In My Cart, a small tracking cookie is placed by Amazon. If you complete a qualifying purchase within Amazon's cookie window, we receive a commission from Amazon. This does not change the price you pay in any way.
Where You'll See This Disclosure
In addition to this page, you'll find a short version of this disclosure at the top and bottom of every blog post that contains affiliate links, so it's never hidden or hard to find.
